Forging a Monument
in the Desert.
Transforming the untouched sands of Qiddiya into a global broadcast stage. How we delivered production-ready 3D assets for a massive live event in just 31 days.
The Impossible Timeline.
Saudi Arabia's General Sports Authority needed to announce Qiddiya to the world. They gave production leaders PHNTM Labs a near-impossible directive: transform an undeveloped desert landscape, backed by the majestic Tuwaiq Mountains, into a world-class spectacle. The deadline? A non-negotiable 31 days.
Digital Craftsmanship for Physical Reality.
In high-stakes production, there is no time for trial and error. The scenic team needed absolute certainty before they started carving foam and stone. Leveraging SolidRender’s expertise in high-fidelity 3D sculpting, we translated conceptual sketches into production-ready digital assets.
01. The Digital Blueprint (SolidRender)
We created high-fidelity digital sculptures with precise topology. These assets served as the exact blueprint for fabrication.
02. The Physical Reality (Final Stage)
The scenic teams used our digital files for direct CNC carving and construction, ensuring the stage was built right the first time.
An Undeniable Spectacle.
On deadline and under immense pressure, the digital became physical. The sculpted stage elements, born from SolidRender’s digital models, stood center stage as Qiddiya was introduced to a global audience of millions.
The Production Pipeline.
From raw ZBrush geometry to final atmospheric pre-visualization. A look into the rigorous sculpting process.
