From drone altitude to helicopter skyline.

Eye-of-the-Bird Master Aerials

Full-site aerial compositions at 1,500 to 2,500 feet showing the entire development footprint, infrastructure, amenities, and community context. The signature image that anchors masterplan sales decks.

Skyline Impact Studies

Helicopter-altitude views from documented vantages (Hudson River, Biscayne Bay, East River) showing how your tower reads against the existing skyline. Required for supertall pre-sales and frequently for City Planning context.

Drone-Altitude Marketing Aerials

300 to 500-foot perspectives that capture the building in its immediate neighborhood context. Ideal for mid-rise mixed-use, condo launches, and the bridge between street-level and skyline aerial.

Phasing and Construction Sequence Aerials

Multi-phase aerial sequences showing the masterplan's development arc. Phase 1 through Phase 5 progression for community developers, plus construction-staging aerials for lender pitch decks.

Overview

Aerial and Helicopter Rendering for Real Estate Developers

Aerial rendering is the perspective that sells the unsellable. Master-planned communities cannot be communicated from street level. Supertall towers cannot be validated without skyline context. Waterfront and mixed-use assemblages cannot tell their full story without the bird's-eye view. SolidRender produces aerial and helicopter renderings for the projects where scale, phasing, and contextual relationships drive the commercial decision.

Our work is built on GIS-accurate 3D city models. When we render a Hudson Yards tower, the surrounding Manhattan context is to scale — Vessel, the High Line, Penn Station, the Hudson River, and the existing tower cluster all positioned correctly. When we render a Brickell supertall, the Biscayne Bay frontage, neighboring towers, and downtown Miami skyline are accurate. When we render a Florida master-planned community, the surrounding land use, water bodies, and infrastructure match the actual site condition. This is the difference between aerial rendering that survives City Planning review and aerial rendering that gets caught.

We produce aerials at every working altitude. Helicopter-altitude skyline aerials at 1,000 to 2,500 feet for supertall validation and master-plan signature shots. Drone-altitude marketing aerials at 200 to 500 feet for mid-rise context and pre-construction collateral. Phasing sequences for master-planned community developers showing the project arc from groundbreaking through final phase delivery. Skyline impact studies built to ULURP, CPC, and UDRB submission standards.

For developers building master-planned communities specifically, our Orlando master-planned community guide covers the full workflow. For supertall and high-rise context, see our Manhattan deep-dive and Miami market page.

We are the trusted aerial visualization partner for real estate developers and home builders across the US and Australia.

Outcomes

Aerial rendering for projects where
scale is the story.

Three project types where aerial rendering moves the commercial outcome more than any other deliverable.

Master-Planned Communities

Aerial rendering is the only way to communicate scale, phasing, and amenity adjacencies for community-scale projects. We deliver the masterplan visuals that anchor sales centers, broker presentations, and DRI submissions for projects spanning 50 to 5,000 acres.

Supertall and High-Rise Towers

Helicopter-view aerials validate skyline impact, view corridors, and contextual relationships for towers above 40 stories. Brickell, Hudson Yards, Billionaires' Row, and LIC supertalls all sell on the strength of how the building reads from 1,500 feet up.

Waterfront and Mixed-Use Assemblages

Multi-parcel waterfront and mixed-use developments need aerial composition to communicate the project's full footprint and infrastructure relationship. Edgewater, Watson Island, Brooklyn Navy Yard, Williamsburg waterfront — every assemblage benefits from the bird's-eye narrative.

The Difference

What sets our aerial
rendering apart

GIS-accurate, helicopter-altitude, phasing-aware. Built for projects that defend on the data, not the drama.

Site-Accurate City Modeling

We use GIS-accurate 3D city models for Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Miami, Tampa, and other major markets. Your tower sits in its real urban context — not a generic skyline approximation. Buildings, parks, water bodies, and infrastructure are positioned correctly.

True Helicopter Vantages

We work from real helicopter altitudes (500 feet, 1,000 feet, 1,500 feet, 2,500 feet) with documented camera angles and verified sun positioning. Our aerials match what a chartered helicopter would actually capture, not a synthetic drone-physics approximation.

Phasing and Time-Lapse Visualization

Master-planned communities and assemblage projects sell on the phasing story. We produce phase-by-phase aerial sequences showing the development arc from groundbreaking through Phase 5, with accurate seasonal landscape and infrastructure progression.

Aerials are essential when scale, phasing, or context cannot be communicated from street level. Master-planned communities (more than 20 units across multiple parcels) need aerial. Supertalls and towers above 40 stories need aerial for skyline validation. Waterfront and mixed-use assemblages need aerial to show parcel relationships. Single mid-rise infill projects often do not need aerial — eye-level renderings work better for those. We help scope the right mix during quoting.
Drone-altitude renderings simulate a 200 to 500-foot vantage, the same heights commercial drones are permitted to fly. Helicopter-altitude renderings simulate 1,000 to 2,500 feet, the working altitude for chartered photography flights. Drone aerials work for marketing collateral and neighborhood context. Helicopter aerials work for skyline validation, multi-parcel assemblages, and the heroic visuals that anchor sales galleries. Many projects use both at different altitudes for different audiences.
Yes. We maintain GIS-accurate 3D city models for Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Miami, Miami Beach, Tampa, Orlando, and other major markets. Existing buildings, parks, water bodies, bridges, and infrastructure are positioned to scale. Your tower or development sits in its real urban context, not a generic skyline. For markets we do not have prebuilt models for, we build the surrounding context from publicly available GIS data, satellite imagery, and OpenStreetMap as part of the project scope.
Individual aerial renderings typically run $3,500 to $8,500 per image depending on altitude, context complexity, and the area of accurate city modeling required. Helicopter-altitude skyline aerials with full-context Manhattan or Miami models sit at the upper end. Drone-altitude marketing aerials with limited context sit at the lower end. Master-planned community aerial packages typically scope $25,000 to $90,000 for a complete phasing and amenity sequence. We provide fixed-price quotes within 24 hours of receiving project drawings.
Yes. We produce verifiable skyline impact studies from documented public vantages (Hudson River, East River, Biscayne Bay, Tampa Bay, etc.) with accurate sun angles, view-corridor mapping, and side-by-side existing-versus-proposed comparisons. Our aerial submissions are built to the standards required by NYC City Planning Commission, Miami's Urban Development Review Board, and other major-market planning bodies. Where required, we deliver the technical documentation (vantage GPS coordinates, camera focal length, time of capture) that supports submission credibility.
Yes. Phasing visualization is one of our core capabilities. We produce phase-by-phase aerial sequences showing the masterplan's full development arc, with accurate landscape progression (10-year tree growth, infrastructure activation, amenity opening sequence) between phases. These sequences are used in DRI submissions, sales gallery installations, broker presentations, and investor decks for community-scale projects across Florida, Texas, the Carolinas, and Australia.
We work best with 3D site models (Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, 3ds Max) plus a site survey with accurate coordinates. For master-planned communities, we benefit from civil engineering site plans, landscape architecture plans, and phasing diagrams. If a 3D model is not available, we build the geometry from CAD drawings and aerial site references. For surrounding context, we need the project's exact GIS coordinates so we can position the development correctly within our city models.
Yes. Standard delivery includes 4K master files (3840 x 2160) and we also provide 8K (7680 x 4320) and custom-resolution print masters at 300 DPI for billboard, transit-shelter, and large-format brochure applications. Aerial renderings are commonly used at billboard scale for community sales-launch campaigns and broker event installations. Output specifications are confirmed during scoping.
